"I use the free program Medibang. For certain graphics I can't do with Medibang, I use IbisPaint. (You can get the free mobile version running on any Android emulator.) To draw digitally I have a basic Wacom tablet I got on sale a long time ago. Everything digital is done on an old desktop I keep around. The pencil sketches are done on notebook paper, lol. (Apparently the newer versions of Medibang aren't free anymore? I just figured this out today because I am updating it for the first time in years. XD But the older versions are still free to download off their website. It works for me; I don't need to do anything fancy.)"
What inspired you to draw?
"I wanted to look at pictures of Meta Knight. Overtime I decided to try making other things, but I still enjoy drawing him the most."
How long have you been drawing?
"If you would count my earliest attempts, sometime in the 2000's; I do not remember when specifically. All I did back then was create the same picture of Meta Knight. I began to make a serious attempt at improvement in 2017, so I consider 2017 to be my official starting point."
Why do you like Meta Knight so much?
"¯\_(ツ)_/¯"
What is your favorite part of drawing? Your least favorite?
"My favorite part of drawing is the process of coloring and shading. My least favorite are the backgrounds."
Do you have any advice?
"In honesty, I watch more experienced artists to figure out what they do. I learn most of this creative stuff by taking what I love and deconstructing it into basic parts. Then I fit them with other parts until something different emerges. You pick up on patterns along the way - what looks good and what doesn't. But you can experiment around and do whatever you want, honestly. Take inspiration from wherever you can find it, and use it."
